Astana Hub Presented a New Issue of the International Journal on Civil Service Issues

Regional Hub of Civil Service in Astana has published the seventh issue of the International Journal of Civil Service Reform and Practice, which includes analytical articles and reviews of leading scientists and practitioners on topical issues of civil service and public administration.

The new issue starts with an analytical article by Gerald Kaiden, Professor Emeritus at the Price School of Public Policy of the University of Southern California, negative impact of maladministration, bureau-pathology and corruption on public administration.

The next article by Saltanat Janenova, Professor at the Graduate School of Public Policy of Nazarbayev University and Iliyas Yesdauletov from the Economic Research Institute of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presents comparative perspective of the reforms implemented in Canada and Kazakhstan in the sphere of public services delivery.

In his article Jahi Jahija, State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Society and Administration of Macedonia, considers the role of functional analysis as a tool for human resource management in the Republic of Macedonia. It also presents the results of analysis carried out in the ministries, as well as in the local self-government state authorities of the country.

The International Journal of Public Service Reform and Practice (IJSCRP) is a peer-reviewed and practice-oriented semi-annual publication in the public domain, published by the Regional Hub of Civil Service in Astana.
